Overview :
This text “Sva Dehi Samarthya” is a collection of these Siddhanta which has been put forward for wise and erudite people of the society to guide them to lead a healthy and capable life.
Many books are available in the market; just reading fulfilling it away does not fulfil the purpose of the book for which it is intended. The book should be discussed, thought about and used in our daily lives. Then we can say that the book is useful or has become a success as the author, proposed it to be. Otherwise the book just gets lost in the countless heaps of books that get printed. So IMMUNE has come out with this book with the objective to educate and train people in today’s society and also the coming generation to guide them on food, diet etc subjects thus helping one and all to improve their Samarthya.
Principles of food (Aahar), sleep (Nindra) and chastity (Brahmacharya) are the three supporting pillars of a healthy life as described in the Vedas. Adhering to these principles are extremely important to improve one’s Samarthya and longevity.
We now face a situation of whether to follow the principles as shown in the ancient Indian Vedas or to follow the daily new research findings of modern times. It is up to us to give a thought on this matter and then take the decision wisely. Many times we have seen that the research findings of modern times are somewhere finding their way to relate to the principles mentioned in the Vedic literature. What is to be noted is that the ancient Vedic literature is always a step ahead of the findings of the present research.
